Today, Mahesh Foundation works through programs focused on shelter, education, healthcare, nutrition, skill development, community support, HIV awareness, and women empowerment. Its Care Home has directly supported more than 4,900 children, while its education initiatives have supported 72,000 underprivileged children. The Foundation also reports reaching 10.5 lakh school and college students through HIV/AIDS awareness initiatives and supporting 90,000 socially disadvantaged families affected by HIV. The Foundation's founder Mahesh Jadhav has received several recognitions for his contribution to child welfare, including the National Award for Child Welfare from the Government of India in 2017 and the Karnataka State Award for Child Welfare in 2014.
