Youth are the future of a Nation and a medium of social change. Building a strong nation needs contribution from the Youth. Since its inception, Mahesh Foundation started bringing awareness about HIV/AIDS and social responsibilities among communities. Then started bringing awareness targeting the youth as there is a need of the hour to make them socially aware and make them responsible persons in civic society.
Mr. Mahesh Jadhav, founder of Mahesh Foundation has addressed more than 3 lakhs youth over the past 4 years. After being inspired by the thoughts of Mahesh Jadhav, they also started thinking of doing their bit for society. Many youths joined hands with Mahesh Foundation as volunteers to serve these children.

Young people are vulnerable to HIV/AIDS due to their poor knowledge about sexual health. As adults don't talk to children about sexual health education. Along with this, they need awareness about sexual matters and the stages and physical and mental changes that occur in teenagers. There is no such education in the education system of India as well. Mahesh Foundation found it is necessary to raise awareness about adolescent education and HIV/AIDS to prevent the spread of the epidemic.

Why is the awareness necessary?
Many young children come to us for counselling, may it be mental or emotional support, we have expert guides who volunteer themselves to help them find a solution, to calm and encourage the needy.
Many institutes realized the need of bringing awareness among their students and asked us to conduct skill development and awareness programs
Adolescence is a very delicate phase of life, the children require a lot of support, guidance and counselling at this age we regularly need to mentor them.
