Solar Power Plant Installation
Our Challenge

The reliance on conventional energy sources in the new school building has become a major challenge. Rising electricity costs place a growing financial burden on Mahesh Foundation, threatening the long-term sustainability of the institution. Additionally, frequent power outages disrupt the learning environment, hinder modern teaching practices, and limit students’ access to essential educational resources. The existing school, operated by Mahesh Foundation, is committed to providing quality education to 2,000 underprivileged children. To overcome these challenges, there is a pressing need to adopt sustainable energy solutions that ensure uninterrupted power supply.

To overcome these challenges, Mahesh Foundation, with the generous support of Itron India Pvt. Ltd., has installed a 40kV solar power plant at the new school building. This sustainable energy solution ensures uninterrupted power supply, significantly reduces electricity costs, and supports a more stable, tech-enabled learning environment for 2,000 underprivileged children. The solar plant not only powers classrooms, labs, and administrative areas but also ensures the smooth functioning of essential facilities like the dining area and computer labs. This initiative marks a significant step towards building an energy-efficient, eco-friendly campus.
