ITSL offers a bouquet of Trusteeship services encompassing debentures, bonds, private equity, bank lending, Securitisation, Invit/REITs, Escrow, Document Management Solutions, Masala Bond, Gold Trustee, P2P Trustee, etc. ITSL was incorporated under the Companies Act 1956 as a government company under Section 619(1)(b) for a limited purpose.

Our Challenge

In Belagavi most of the families are mainly dependent on farming and daily wages. Literacy rate is poor and it is difficult for them to do any skill work as they are not trained for such work in the area. Often, due to social norms and financial crises, they are unable to undertake any training and became unable to earn their livelihood. Some of them do casual labor work but it produces poor earnings which is not sufficient to arrange meals twice daily. This impacts on the health of women.

Mahesh Foundation's livelihood and training center identifies such women present in society and provides bag stitching training for these women. And the stitched bags are sold to generate income. These women practice stitching varieties of bags in our livelihood center. This livelihood & training center gives the opportunity hundreds of women to earn their livelihood. IDBI Trusteeship Services Limited supported this initiative with 10 Sewing Machines enabling us to provide well-equipped machines to these underprivileged children.

Nutrition Support

Our Challenge

The HIV-positive children residing in Mahesh Foundation's Care Home face a significant challenge in accessing adequate nutrition. Malnutrition not only hampers their physical growth and development but also weakens their immune systems, making them more susceptible to infections and illnesses. The combination of HIV and malnutrition creates a vicious cycle where their weakened immune systems make them more prone to infections, and inadequate nutrition impairs their ability to recover and maintain optimal health. To break this cycle and provide the necessary support, immediate action is needed to ensure these children have access to adequate nutrition.

With the support of IDBI Trusteeship Services Limited (ITSL), we ensured a comprehensive nutrition support program for HIV-positive children in Mahesh Foundation's Care Home. It includes a thorough nutritional assessment, personalized meal plans, dietary supplements, nutrition education, and collaboration with professional dieticians. We have been able to address the children's unique dietary needs, enhance their overall health and well-being, and empower them with knowledge about proper nutrition management. By tackling these challenges, we are helping them for a brighter future and improving their overall well-being.
