Construction of the Ground Floor

With support from Belgaum Aqua Valves Pvt. Ltd., we constructed the ground floor in the new school building. This will benefit hundreds of underprivileged children in 2024-25.

Dining Area Construction

Our Challenge

The Child Welfare Department has directed all the Child Care Institutions in India to maintain separate premises for boys and girls and this made us build new premises. We have decided to build a separate facility for girls beside our existing premises. There was only one dining facility for boys and girls with 50 capacity in the existing premises. The increased number of children in our care home as well as in the school has raised concern about the dining facilities. There are 270+ medically challenged and underprivileged children who need to have meals in a single dining area of 50 capacity that is too within a short period of time.

Mahesh Foundation approached The Belgaum Aqua Valves for CSR support for the setup of another Dining Area in the new premises for girls. The Belgaum Aqua Valves has supported the setup of the dining area with all the equipment. Currently, 300+ medically challenged and underprivileged children are getting benefited from this. Because of the generosity of The Belgaum Aqua Valves, Mahesh Foundation has made it possible to provide a new dining facility for these children.

Education

Our Challenge

Doubtless, education is the catalyst for social change. Education is central to all and especially to HIV-positive and underprivileged children who are in the fight against poverty and discrimination. To provide education to these children we have started a school that ensures skill-based education to the children along with formal education. To provide all the infrastructure facilities and education to these children, Mahesh Foundation was seeking support.

The Belgaum Aqua Valves has sponsored the education of 50+ children that helped Mahesh Foundation to support their educational needs such as school bags, books, stationery, uniform and more. As these children belong to marginalized communities like slums, the help of The Belgaum Aqua Valves has enabled us to transform the communities by raising awareness about education.

School Vans

Our Challenge

Mahesh Foundation’s mission is to provide free international quality and skill-based education to these underprivileged children. As Mahesh foundation has a well-built premise with all the infrastructure that these children can learn comfortably. Every year the number of children who enroll in the school Utkarsha Learning Center has been increasing and there arises a problem of conveyance of these children from slums to school and vice-versa. Then Mahesh Foundation was in requirement of 2 school vans that can conveyance the 60+ children from slums.

Belgaum Aqua Valves verified our request and proceeded to sponsor a vehicle within a few days. They hand over a van within a week after proceeding. Mahesh Foundation got a vehicle for the conveyance of these children and appointed two well-trained drivers. This made children arrive at school safely and comfortably. Yet not on time, because, the single-vehicle only can pick up half of the strength and another half have to wait until the van return and pick up them. It has become a time-consuming and complicated task for the drivers and teachers as well. On the request of Mahesh Foundation for another vehicle and explaining the problem that was faced by the drivers and teachers, Belgaum Aqua Valves sponsored another vehicle and this made the task of the drivers easy.

Oxygen Cylinders

Our Challenge

The healthcare system was in a devastating position due to the COVID pandemic since 2020. Many people lost their lives because of the lack of beds, oxygen and more. There was a scarcity of oxygen and people died because of this reason. Mahesh Foundation has taken the initiative Covid-19 Relief Campaign to support struggling patients and people. Then, there was a requirement for oxygen cylinders to save the precious lives of people.

The Belgaum Aqua Valves has supported Mahesh Foundation’s intent to support needy COVID-19 patients. They have provided oxygen cylinders under the CSR initiative. Because of their support, we have been able to meet the needs of the patients and save their precious lives. More than 600 patients benefited from this

Our Challenge

Mahesh Foundation faces a pressing challenge in delivering quality education to underprivileged children due to overcrowded classrooms and limited facilities. The existing infrastructure can no longer accommodate the growing student population, restricting both the standard of education and the foundation’s ability to reach more children in need. To fulfill its mission of providing accessible, high-quality education, there is an urgent need to construct a new school equipped to serve 2,000 children effectively.

To address the urgent need for enhanced educational infrastructure at Mahesh Foundation, we are deeply grateful to The Belgaum Aqua Valves for their generous support in constructing the Ground Floor of the new school building. This facility accommodates classrooms, a computer lab, a science lab, a dining area, and activity rooms, providing a well-equipped and stimulating environment for learning. Their contribution will directly benefit 2,000 underprivileged children, significantly improving access to quality education and laying a strong foundation for their academic success and brighter futures.
